Job Title: Commercial Cleaning Technician Reports To: Site Supervisor / Owner-OperatorLocation: Aiken, SCEmployment Type: Part-Time (Daytime ) | 20-25 hours a week Position Summary: As a Commercial Cleaning Technician at Palmetto Facilities Group LLC, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality cleaning and janitorial services in a professional, efficient, and detail-oriented manner. You will help maintain safe and sanitary environments at client locations, both under Jan-Pro contracts and private service agreements. This role requires reliability, trustworthiness, and the ability to work independently while representing the Palmetto brand. Key Responsibilities: Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules as assigned for each facilitySweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors in office, restroom, and common areasClean and disinfect restrooms, break rooms, and high-touch surfacesDust furniture, windowsills, and equipmentRestock paper products and cleaning supplies where applicableEmpty and replace trash liners in waste receptaclesSecure client keys or access codes; lock up sites upon completionAdhere to all PPE and safety procedures, including use of chemicalsReport maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor promptlyMaintain a professional appearance and wear required uniform Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious cleaning or janitorial experience a plus, but not requiredAbility to follow instructions and complete tasks independentlyTrustworthy with client property and confidential workspacesMust be able to pass background screening and eligibility verification (I-9)Reliable transportation and ability to work scheduled evening shifts Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand, bend, lift, and carry equipment up to 30 lbsAble to walk for extended periods and perform repetitive motions Uniform & Equipment: Jan-Pro branded shirt provided and requiredEmployee must supply khaki pants and slip-resistant shoesCleaning tools and PPE provided by the company Compensation & Benefits: Starting at $14-hour Paid training and certification in Jan-Pro standardsOpportunities for advancement to Team Lead roles
