IT Project Coordinator

Location: New Hyde Park, NY 11042

Work Arrangement: Hybrid — onsite Monday–Wednesday; remote Thursday–Friday

Pay Rate: $25/hour

Employment Type: Contract

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented IT Project Coordinator to support project planning, documentation, reporting, and coordination across IT teams and stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional who is interested in IT project management and developing experience with project lifecycle processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize, maintain, and archive project documents and records.
\n
• Support established project management processes and project lifecycle activities.
\n
• Track project dependencies, constraints, risks, benefits, and trade-offs.
\n
• Prepare meeting agendas and document meeting minutes, decisions, and action items.
\n
• Coordinate with internal IT teams, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
\n
• Assist with project status updates, reports, schedules, and follow-ups.
\n
• Identify opportunities to improve project documentation and coordination processes.
\n
• Support IT leadership with project planning and related administrative activities.
\n

Required Qualifications

\n
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
\n
• Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
\n
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain accurate records, and follow established processes.
\n
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
\n
• Interest in IT project coordination, project management, or PMO operations.
\n
• Ability to work onsite in New Hyde Park, NY, Monday through Wednesday.
\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n
• Internship, academic project, or entry-level experience supporting IT projects.
\n
• Familiarity with project documentation, meeting minutes, action-item tracking, status reports, or risk logs.
\n
• Exposure to project management tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, SharePoint, or Microsoft Project.
\n

• Compensation is $25/hour.

• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States by the start date without requiring employer sponsorship.

• This role requires onsite attendance Monday–Wednesday in New Hyde Park, NY.
